Ingles Beginner A

I would like to get to know Singapore. Once I saw an episode of "Siempre hay un Chileno", where a woman lived here. From that moment I was struck by its composition of islands, tourism and its big economy.  First, I would like to go to its shopping district "Orchard Road", I would also like to go to the infinity pool in the sky and Gardens by the Bay.  Singapore is quite multicultural because it was part of the British colonies and due to its high GDP per capita many people from neighboring countries decide to travel in search of a better life. This is seen in that its main language is English and has cultural neighborhoods such as:Little India, the Arab Quarter, ChinatownLittle India, the Arab Quarter, Chinatown and Peranakan Terrace Houses.  To finish, I don't know if I would study here but it would be very cool to work knowing the different islands and how different each one is.  

My experience with English since I was little has been very bad, horrible. I don't remember having the confidence to speak or write it.  In school it was always the subject with the bad grades. When I was 12-13 years old I used to listen to music in English, although I think that's why I stopped listening to it, now I prefer music in Spanish. At present I try to watch series and movies with subtitles to learn a little more, although I don't feel that I do.  In the future I hope to speak or understand the language a little more.
